We got lucky on electricity. Ours came back up about a week after Helene. Our team was there in a flash, with spouses in tow. We got the warehouse stood back up with a hotspot. The carriers started back up pretty quickly and we were able to get the backlog out in a few days.
The restoration company had fans everywhere and they were cutting drywall and pulling out the flooring as we let our members get back into their stations. Devil’s Foot was almost immediately distributing canned water that NoDa brewing canned for Asheville and brought up the mountain.
It was so chaotic and muddy and sweaty and hopeful and difficult and surreal and heartbreaking and inspiring.
